The Stepping Stones Drug and Alcohol Day Centres offer free, confidential treatment, counselling and referral services for individuals and families concerned about alcohol, tobacco and other drug issues.

Drug and alcohol treatment and support such as:

  • Assessing clients for referral to other services and then helping clients access those services
  • Giving information, support and counselling to clients and families.

 

Community links such as:

  • Supporting community goals to help people with drug and alcohol problems
  • Providing drug and alcohol health information and resources to relevant services
  • Working with the mobile assistance patrol and sobering up unit.
  • Daily support services such as:
  • Shower and laundry facilities
  • Light breakfast and lunch.

LOCATIONS

Diversionary activities, developed in consultation with clients, which may include:

  • Peer support groups
  • Arts and crafts
  • Music therapy
  • Life skills

 

The Day Centres provide a range of treatment and non-residential diversionary programs for Aboriginal people who live in Port Augusta, Ceduna and outlying areas who are experiencing problems caused by substance misuse.

 

The service provides treatment and rehabilitation referrals for people who misuse petrol, alcohol, cannabis and other substances.
